WHO WE ARE
The CCC is designed to provide jobs for young men, and to relieve families who have difficulty finding jobs during this Great Depression in the United States. It was founded by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933. Led by the Army, we provide jobs that consist of planting trees, preserving plants in forests, preventing forest fires, and well as maintaining good soil. In return for hard work, we pay our workers a reasonable wage 30 dollars a month.

OUR PURPOSE
The CCC operates separate programs for veterans and Native Americans. Hopefully, Native Americans participate in the program, to help weather the Great Depression. Principal benefits of an individual's enrollment in the CCC includes a improved physical condition, heightened morale, and increases employability. The CCC will also lead to a greater public awareness and appreciation of the outdoors and the nation's natural resources; and the continued need for a carefully planned, comprehensive national program for the protection and development of natural resources. We will be able to maintain a better environment, while at the same time providing jobs for the unemployed in order to relief the devasted economy.

WHERE IT WILL OPERATE
It implements a general natural resource conservation program in every state and territory. During the time of the CCC, we hope the enrollees are able to plant trees to help reforest America, construct trails, lodges and related facilities in more than 800 parks nationwide and upgrade most state parks, update forest fire fighting methods, and build a network of service buildings and public roadways in remote areas. For CCC camps; the tents will be replaced by barracks built by Army contractors for the enrollees.

HOW WILL WE ACHIEVE OUR GOAL
The CCC will depend on emergency and temporary Congressional legislation and funding to operate. Maximum enrollment at any one time is 300,000; but if all goes well it can be expanded. Men participating in the CCC, will be provided with shelter, clothing, and food, altogether about a small wage of $30 a month ($25 of which will be sent home to their families).
